| John 3:16 Gospel Presentation
|
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son,
That whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life“ (John 3:16)
Like this, not only I but also whoever meets Jesus is changed, what does it mean? What makes them so change.
Here is an interesting illustration.
Let me explain it with this illustration.
God is Creator
God is Love
God is Savior

1. First I'll tell you God the Creator
In the book of Genesis 1:1, it says “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth”
He created the whole universe for just 6 days through the Word.
The world God created was perfect for human beings to live.
And then he created the first man and woman, Adam and Eve, in his own image.
God blessed them and said to them,
“Be fruitful and increase in number, Fill the earth and subdue it.”
But the Lord God forbade one thing.
He commanded the man,
“You are free to eat from any tree in the garden, but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of the good and evil, for when you eat of it you will surely die.”
But they broke the command and were chased out from the Garden of Eden.
They, Adam and Eve committed sin, so we all mankind became sinners.
2. Man is a sinner
In the book of Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God”
When we think of sin, we think only of robbery, murder, adultery etc.
But the Bible tells us that sin is anything that doesn't please God or is a transgression of his law.
There are not only sins in deed but also in word and in thought like ; lying, cursing, lust, pride and hatred.
The most serious sin is not to praise God, because God created human beings to praise God himself.
Man cannot save himself Even we do many good things, we cannot erase our sin records.
The lord God of love: He loves human beings, but has to punish our sin (1John 4:8)
"Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love."
And the same bible tells us that God loves us also tells us that
"Yet he does not leave the guilty unpunished "(Exo 34:7)
The God of love solved this problem in the person of Jesus Christ.
3. Jesus Christ
Who is he?
He is the one and only son of God who was sent into the world because of our sin. ( John 1:1 ,14)
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth."
What did he do?
He died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins and rose from the dead to purchase a place in Heaven for us which He offers as a gift.

Let's imagine this book in my right hand is a minutely detailed account of my life.
Each page details the sin of a particular day, every word I have spoken, every thought that ever crossed my mind, every deed I've ever done.
Here then (hold up the book) is the problem-my sin (place book in palm of left hand).
God loves me (point to your left hand ), but he hates my sin (point at the book on top of your hand ) and must punish it.
To solve this problem He sent His beloved son into the world ( lift up right hand parallel to the left hand ).
The Scripture says( Isa 53:6)
"All we like sheep have gone astray we have turned, everyone, to his own way , and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all."
All of my sin which God hates has been placed on his beloved son.
Christ bore our sin in His own body on the tree.
To those whoever accepts this fact through faith God gives eternal life.
4. Faith
Faith is the key that opens the door to heaven (Eph 2:8~9)
“For it is by grace you have been saved through faith and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God not by works, so that no one can boast."
Eternal life is an absolutely free gift, It's not earned or deserved. But,

5. Unbelief
Unbelief is an eternal punishment in the hell (Mark 9:48~49)
"Where their worm does not die, and the fire is not quenched, Everyone will be salted with fire."
Now Bible says, "God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."
6. Eternal life
And also says,
“Believe in the lord Jesus, and you will be saved you and your household " (Acts 16:31)
Now God is saying, "if you do believe in Jesus, I will give you eternal life."
And asking you,
"I want to give you this gift of eternal life. would you receive it?"
Then what would you say?
“Yes, I would receive”

7. Prayer of commitment
All right, mrs, Kim, the Lord is here. Right now we can go to him in prayer if you want to receive this gift of eternal life, ask Him for the gift. Here's a suggested prayer ; will you repeat after me?
Lord Jesus Christ, I know I'm a sinner and do not deserve eternal life. But I believe you died on the cross and rose from the grave to purchase a place in heaven for me. I repent of my sins and now place my trust in you for my salvation. I accept the free gift of eternal life. In Jesus name. Amen
Now you became a God's child. Today is spiritual birthday Happy birthday to you!!

8. Follow up & growth
What's next? Just as a newborn baby grows physically, so you will grow spiritually by taking the following steps
1. Read one chapter of the book of John in the Bible each day.
2. Spend time each day in prayer conversing with God.
3. Worship regularly in a church that teaches you the Bible and honors Jesus Christ.
4. fellowship with Christians who will help your grow in faith.
5. Be a witness by telling others what Jesus Christ means to you.
